“Journeying with Spirit”
Amanda Dillon (PhD Cand), 9.00-10.45am
This unit will attend to the relationship between spirituality and imagination, focusing particularly on spirituality and art and the ways our encounter with art can evoke experience of a spiritual kind and lead us to live life in a horizon of spiritual depth.
Brian Dooney (PhD), 11.15-13.00
This unit will explore the relationship between text and s/Spirit. It will examine some of the ways in which our encounter with stories, songs and poems can open us into spiritual depth and enrich the journey of life both personally and collectively.
Niamh Brennan (PhD Cand), 14.00-16.00
This unit will focus on the relationship between spirituality and ecology, drawing specifically on the Story of the Universe. It will explore the way in which the Universe Story is also our own personal story and how a greater understanding of this story can inspire a closer and more sacred relationship with Earth and those we share Earth with.
